The CRC for Forestry, located in Hobart Tasmania, works to support a sustainable and vibrant Australian forestry industry through research, education, communication and collaboration with research organisations, state agencies and the Australian government, and the forestry industry.

One of their core values is open and honest communication, however their previous website and content management solution, restricted the amount of information that was available to the public by separating the public website with a restrictive internal system. The organisation was looking for a single solution that allowed project members and internal staff to communicate and share information by a central platform quickly and easily without training, with the ability to share this information on the public website as needed.

The new MyBoaB Community Technology (stage 2) will allow project leaders and members to easily add content such as documents, images, calendar events and weblinks to their relevant group areas, which can then be also made available on the public website if needed.

BoaB CMS Enterprise edition with addons such as the advanced contacts manager, internal search, online forms, and TagGroup was selected as the base system to get their public website up and running and provide a base for the new Community enhancements for the members site.
